
Dr. Dipanjan Guha is a learner and trying to learn science through an interdisciplinary approach. After
completion of B.Sc. in Physics (Major), he did his Master’s in Biophysics from the University of Kalyani.
He continued to diversify his knowledge by pursuing a post-MSc degree in Bioinformatics from the
University of Calcutta. To understand computational biology better, he also earned a Master's in
Computer Applications (MCA). His scientific endeavors continued and did a PhD in Biophysics. Dr.
Guha also trained from abroad as a postdoctoral fellow. There, he was associated with CEITEC, Czech
Republic and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry, Germany. After returning to India, he joined
NISER, Bhubaneswar as a PDF. Currently associated with the University of Kalyani as a Senior Project
Associate, BIF Centre. He is also appointed at S. N. Bose Innovation Center, University of Kalyani to
look after a state-of-the-art instrumentation facility, where he trains PhD students and early career
research scientists. Apart from teaching, he is interested in learning new cancer immunology, radiation
biology, and advanced drug delivery systems. He wishes to get established as an academician with the
goal of innovation, which has a beneficial societal impact.
